Beau Dunn

Having already made her mark in the modeling world, Beau Dunn is quickly making a name for herself in the entertainment industry, poised and ready to conquer acting. With various guest roles on hit shows, there is no doubt that doors will continue to open for this talented beauty.

Beau has previously appeared on ABC Family comedy series “Melissa & Joey,” and recurs on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in numerous comedy sketches. Most recently, Beau filmed a guest-starring role for the final episodes of HBO’s hit series “Entourage.”

At the age of 18, the California native began her college career at Pepperdine University, pursuing a major in Studio Art and specializing in sculpture. At the same time Beau started modeling, working for such clients as Raw Minerals, Nailene and BEBE designer Saundra Saulnier. As her portfolio grew, she was quickly signed by FORD Models and shot campaigns for Smashbox, Skechers, Pravana Hair Care and Jane Iredale Cosmetics to name a few. She was also featured on the cover of Martha Stewart’s Body & Soul Magazine in 2010.

In addition to her acting and modeling endeavors, Beau has founded the Cure Lipedema Fund with Dr. Karen Herbst, working closely together to promote research, raise awareness and provide information on this extremely misunderstood disease. Lipedema, which is also referred to as “painful fat syndrome,” is a disorder of the adipose tissue that causes swelling in the lower half of the body, including the legs and hips, extending down towards the ankles due to accumulations of fat and fluid in the tissues under the skin. Often confused for obesity, the symptoms cannot be exercised or even starved away. If left untreated, Lipedema can cause multiple health problems leading to mobility issues.
