Contemporary British lyricist, Ashley Thomas aka Bashy epitomises the underdog. Like Tinie Tempah, Chipmunk and Wretch 32 he has become part of the new look British hip hop sphere, After toiling on the underground scene, putting out independent releases and making an impact through big ideas rather than access to big budgets. The “life commentator’s” CV includes conscious anthem Black Boys, MOBO Award nominated album “Catch Me If You Can” and World Tour with International band, Gorillaz. He has since added 8 feature film roles to his repertoire.
