Thursday night marked the last episode of Jay Leno’s “Tonight Show” on NBC. Although his last departure didn’t quite stick, it seems like it’s for real this time around. Jay bid his audience goodbye with tears, laughter, and musical tributes from celebs like Billy Crystal (his very first late-night guest), Kevin Bacon, Bob Costas, Garth Brooks, Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Sheryl Crow, Clippers point guard Chris Paul, and Jim Parsons. He was even given an ambassadorship to Antarctica by none other than President Obama.

A tearful Jay took the stage to say his last farewell, saying "Boy, this is the hard part. I want to thank you, the audience. You folks have been just incredibly loyal and this is tricky," Leno said. "We wouldn't be on the air without you people. Secondly, this has been the greatest 22 years of my life. I am the luckiest guy in the world. I got to meet presidents and astronauts and movie stars. It's just been incredible."

Celebrities clearly felt lucky to earn a spot on his coveted show too, as evidenced by the tributes they paid to the talk show host on social media. Scroll down for some fond memories from WhoSayers who sat on the “Tonight Show” couch.
