Audiences will have to say goodbye to “Psych” this March, according to a recent announcement made by USA Network president Chris McCumber.

Having recently entered its eighth (and now final) season, “Psych” is USA’s longest-running original series, and certainly one of the most inventive shows on television.

Starring WhoSayers Dule Hill, James Roday, and Timothy Omundson, “Psych” has been honored with an Emmy nomination and numerous ALMA and Image Awards nominations. The show has also attracted a devoted fan following (aka “Psychos”), who helped “Psych” win the People’s Choice Award for Best Television Comedy last month.

“‘Psych’ has made an indelible imprint on the television landscape, with a unique brand of comedy,” said Chris McCumber. “The final season celebrates the iconic characters that have made this show so beloved, and will be an exclamation point on the series’ incredible run.”

On the bright side, “Psych” fans may not have to say goodbye forever.

McCumber added, “While the series will wrap in March, somehow I don’t believe we’ve heard the last of Shawn and Gus.”

Fingers crossed, Psychos. In anticipation for the series finale, we've compiled some of our favorite behind-the-scenes photos from "Psych." Take a look below.

The series finale of “Psych” will air on March 26 at 9 p.m. EST on USA Network. The episode will be followed by a one-hour special Q&A with the cast and creator Steve Franks at 10 p.m. EST.
