San Antonio is for lovers!

With Valentine's Day around the corner, Amazon has compiled a list of the 20 most romantic cities in the U.S. Based on aggregated sales data of romance novels, relationship books, romantic comedy movies, romantic music, and "sexual wellness products" among cities with more than 100,000 residents, Amazon was able to identify the 20 most romantic cities in America:

  1. San Antonio, TX
  2. Seattle, WA
  3. Knoxville, TN
  4. Miami, FL
  5. Alexandria, VA
  6. Orlando, FL
  7. Vancouver, WA
  8. Cincinnati, OH
  9. Spokane, WA
  10. Dayton, OH
  11. Columbia, SC
  12. San Jose, CA
  13. Murfreesboro, TN
  14. Round Rock, TX
  15. Sioux City, ND
  16. Las Vegas, NV
  17. Pittsburg, PA
  18. Everett, WA
  19. Erie, PA
  20. Clearwater, FL

In the five years Amazon has been announcing America's most romantic cities, it's the first time San Antonio has made the top 20—and the first time since 2010 that Seattle has made the cut (Spokane, San Jose, and Sioux City also appeared on the list for the first time in 2014). Knoxville, which topped the list last year, slipped to the third spot, while San Buenaventura and El Monte, CA, and New York, NY were listed as the least romantic cities in the U.S.

Did your city make the cut? If not, you still have time to turn up the heat by Valentine's Day. Scroll down for some inspiration from our stars and Valentine's Days past.
