It was an epic Saturday for Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova, who participated in the first major final of her career at the 2014 Australian Open. Although she eventually took second place to China's unstoppable Li Na 7-6 (7-3) 6-0, we couldn't have asked for a more entertaining 97 minutes.

Dominika was a gracious runner-up, beaming through happy tears as she took to the podium after the game.

"I don't really know where to start," Cibulkova said to ESPN, holding her second place trophy. "This was just a fantastic two weeks of my life. I think I'm going to cry."

"Li Na," Cibulkova added, "she had a great tournament; she deserves to be the winner."

In addition to her amazing win, Li Na has been gaining viral popularity on the internet, thanks to her less-than humble (albiet hilarious) speech after the match.

"Thanks for my agent, Max," she said of IMG agent Max Eisenbud. "Make me rich. Thanks a lot."

"My husband," she continued, "You are famous in China. My hitting partner, fix the drink, fix the racket. Thanks a lot. You are a nice guy. Also you are so lucky...for me."

Watch Li Na's speech here and congratulate Dominika for a great performance in her first grand slam weekend below.
