Luke Evans Hits Berlin Premiere of "The Hobbit"
The actor gave us a look inside the premiere of "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," with co-stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Evangeline Lilly, and Orlando Bloom, and more.
Luke Evans, star of "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," attended Monday's premiere of Peter Jackson's second installment of the epic fantasy and adventure trilogy based on J. R. R. Tolkien's 1937 novel "The Hobbit." Evans was joined by co-stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Evangeline Lilly, and Orlando Bloom, among others.
Luke, who earlier dedicated "The Hobbit" premiere to his late friend and "Fast & Furious" star Paul Walker, walked the red carpet at the Cinestar am Potsdamer Platz Theater in Berlin, Germany, where he was joined by Mary and Peggy Nesbitt, who play his kids in the movie.
Long before the December 2 U.S. premiere of the new installment of "The Hobbit," Luke has been providing his fans with exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the movie, as and some fun insights like this awesome holiday gift idea, his excitement at seeing himself on this billboard, and a glimpse of him about to board "The Hobbit's" very own plane.
Luke also had the chance to meet Ed Sheeran, performer of "The Hobbit's" end credit song "I See Fire," who recently got a Grammy Award nomination as Best New Artist.
