Jessica Alba paid a visit to "Conan" last night to discuss her epic new film noir, "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," the long-awaited sequel to 2005's "Sin City." Alba reprises her role as exotic dancer Nancy in the film, but this time, her character's taken a dark, vengeful turn.

While Alba's co-stars in the film—Eva Green, Mickey Rourke, Josh Brolin, Rosario Dawson, Bruce Willis, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, to name a few—are plenty impressive in their own right, the actress reveals that she drew inspiration for her vixenous role, particularly during the dance sequences, from an outside source. That would be this famous lady right here:

"I was, like, trying to channel Beyoncé," Alba tells host Conan O'Brien, while doing a shimmy in her seat. To which the late-night host fired back: "We’re all trying to channel Beyoncé."

Good answer, Conan. Excellent idea, Jessica. Beyoncé is definitely our inspiration, too! Watch the full exchange below.

"Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" is in theaters now.
