Get excited, "Harry Potter" fans, because the wonderful world of wizardry isn't going away anytime soon.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" was one of Harry's textbooks at Hogwarts, but author J.K. Rowling turned it into a series all its own, and it's now being brought to the big screen. Not only is "Harry Potter" director David Yates set to take on the project, but J.K. Rowling will be writing the film(s?) screenplay.

And while it doesn't feature any famous "Potter" faces, it's set in the same magical world that we've all come to know and love. "Although it will be set in the worldwide community of witches and wizards where I was so happy for seventeen years, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is neither a prequel nor a sequel to the Harry Potter series, but an extension of the wizarding world," Rowling said.

You've got a little while to wait, though, because "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" won't hit theaters until November 18, 2016. We'll still be waiting with bated breath.
