These Awesome A-Listers Just Joined "The Jungle Book: Origins"
A whole new group of awesome actors are joining the cast of Warner's "Jungle Book" remake.
It looks like Warner's "Jungle Book: Origins" is just getting better and better. We recently learned that the smoldering Benedict Cumberbatch has joined the cast as Shere Khan, and now it looks like a whole new group of talented actors are taking a trip to the jungle, too.
Christian Bale, Naomie Harris, and Cate Blanchett are set to play some of Rudyard Kipling's most loved characters—panther Begheera, wolf Nisha, and python Kaa respectively. So far, the cast also includes Tom Hollander, Eddie Marsan, Peter Mullan, and director Andy Serkis, who is taking on the role of the lackadaisical bear Baloo.
This film rivals Disney's upcoming "Jungle Book" remake, which stars Scarlett Johansson, Christopher Walken, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong'o, and more.
"The Jungle Book: Origins" comes to theaters October 21, 2016.
