"The Simpsons" 522-Episode Marathon: Binge-Watching at Whole New LevelBest Episodes Ever
FXX is set to kickoff fall with a marathon of Every. "Simpsons" Episode. Ever.
If you thought binge-watching "House of Cards" and "Orange Is the New Black" was epic, how about trying to watch all 522 episodes of "The Simpsons" in one sitting?
Sound impossible? Well, the cable network FXX is going to give you a chance to do it anyway. The sister network to FX will be airing the animated comedy series' entire run over the course of 12 days, including 2007's "The Simpsons Movie." It'll be the longest marathon in TV history.
FXX just released a trailer for the "Simpsons"-a-thon, noting that the marathon will take longer than it took God to create the universe in the Bible.
The marathon includes such classics as the following:
"Marge Vs. The Monorail," (written by former "Simpsons" writer Conan O'Brien)
"Cape Feare" (featuring Kelsey Grammer as Sideshow Bob)
"Homer Bad Man" (four words: Gummi Venus de Milo)
This marathon is being used to kickoff FXX's new syndication rights for "The Simpsons," meaning you'll be able to keep watching classic episodes on the network—but not always for 12 straight days. But you can try with the network's "Simpsons World," an app/website launching in October that'll feature every episode for streaming, along with other fun content.
Check out the trailer for the marathon below! Do you have your snacks ready for this "Simpsons" binge to top all binge-watches?
