Here's a way to put your money where your hashtag is.

Fashion designer John Varvatos is donating $1 to the Ringo Starr Peace & Love Fund—which supports at-risk students in under served schools, women who are survivors of domestic violence, and veterans with post-traumatic stress—every time someone snaps and shares a selfie giving the peace sign and using the hashtag #peacerocks.

The campaign coincides with Varvatos' Fall/Winter 2014 collection, starring the legendary drummer for The Beatles himself—which is supported by this short film, featuring Starr along with fellow rock stars and celebrities.

In addition, fellow celebs—such as Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Slash, among others—have joined the cause.
