Dane Cook has been working on all sorts of interesting projects lately: His voice can be heard in the role of Dusty in Disney’s animated film “Planes: Fire & Rescue,” which is in theaters now, and he is currently playing a starring role in—as well as executive producing—“400 Days,” a psychological thriller about astronauts sent on a simulated mission to test the effects of deep space travel on their mental states.

But, of course, we all know and love Cook as a standup comedian, and we’ll soon get the chance to see the funny man doing what he does best in “Troublemaker,” a comedy special airing on Showtime October 17.

It’s made up of two shows Cook taped in Las Vegas last fall, and as if performing wasn’t enough, he directed the special, too.

Look for Cook to talk about everything from how technology impacts relationships to the secrets men and women keep from each other.
