Terry Crews Patrols "Brooklyn Nine-Nine"
The actor shared surveillance tapes from the set of his new FOX comedy.
The former NFL defenseman has been making plays on-screen these last few years—he recently played Herbert Love in the new "Arrested Development" series—but he's about to step up his game. Terry has scored a costarring role on one of the fall's most anticipated new comedies, tonight's "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," from the brain of "Parks & Recreation" creator Mike Schur.
In the show, Terry is part of a ragtag, fun-loving team of New York cops whose new boss, played by Andre Braugher, tries to whip them into shape. The cast is a dream for comedy lovers, and includes other favorites like Andy Samberg ("Saturday Night Live"), Joe Lo Truglio ("The State"), and Chelsea Peretti ("Parks and Recreation").
Terry took a few moments from taping to share these short videos—complete with a photobomb from costar Stephanie Beatriz. The show debuts tonight on FOX at 8:30 p.m. EDT/7:30 p.m. CST, and given the energy on set, we will be on the lookout.
