Mayim Bialik: Smile, You’re on "Candid Camera"big bang gig
“The Big Bang Theory” star Mayim Bialik will co-host TV Land’s reboot of “Candid Camera.”
Mayim Bialik will be saying that a lot as the co-host of the hidden camera show “Candid Camera,” debuting on TV Land on August 11. This is the latest reboot of the classic series, which debuted back in 1948 and pioneered the concept of using concealed cameras to capture the reactions of ordinary people in weird situations.
Before we go any further, you can rest assured that Mayim isn’t leaving her role as neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler on “The Big Bang Theory.”
“Candid Camera” is simply a fun side gig for the actress, who took to Facebook and Twitter to share the news.
Mayim, who will co-host “Candid Camera” with Peter Funt (Peter’s dad Allen actually hosted the original show), said she is “tickled pink to get to be a part of this amazing franchise” in a press release put out by TV Land.
