Neil Gaiman Teases “Wayward Manor”

The author’s otherworldly video game debut looms near.

With novels, comic books, television shows, and movies under his belt, fantasy author Neil Gaiman is ready to add video games to his repertoire. If you’re familiar with his work (“Coraline,” “Doctor Who”), it should come as no surprise that his debut video game dabbles in the otherworldly. “Wayward Manor” is the hair-raising adventure of a ghost whose peaceful afterlife is interrupted by the inhabitants of his creaky Victorian mansion. In anticipation of the game’s imminent release (it will be available for PC, Mac, and tablets before the end of 2013), Neil shared a trailer that gives us a taste of the creepiness to come.
