Bette Midler may not have participated in the World Cup this year…but that didn’t stop the popular actress and singer from adding commentary to an already fun event.

In true comedic fashion, Bette posted a hilarious “highlight” of the sporting event on her WhoSay account. The caption? “My highlight of the #WorldCup, the Japanese fans cleaning up after themselves. How inspiring!”

Bette also tweeted a fun photo of herself “taking a page from the Japanese playbook.” We think she fits the part pretty well.

But perhaps nothing beats the pop culture icon’s picture of herself as a goalie, alerting fans and followers of her excitement to watch the games. Of course, the Divine Miss M was stylish in choosing her clothing to “play” in: a royal purple uniform.

We’d certainly pay to watch Bette kick around a soccer ball…and maybe do some singing while she’s at it. What about you?
