Emma Watson is unstoppable.

The Brown University grad and "Regression" star has been appointed as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador by UN Women, dedicated to gender equality and women’s empowerment.

"Being asked to serve as UN Women's Goodwill Ambassador is truly humbling," said Emma. "The chance to make a real difference is not an opportunity that everyone is given and is one I have no intention of taking lightly."

She also took to Twitter to express her excitement.

As a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, Emma will work to empower young women around the world. She will also serve as an advocate for UN Women's HeForShe campaign—in order to promote gender equality.

"The engagement of young people is critical for the advancement of gender equality in the 21st century," Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Women Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka said"I am convinced that Emma's intellect and passion will enable UN Women's messages to reach the hearts and minds of young people globally," she added.

Congratulations, Emma! We are sure you will continue to make a difference in the lives of millions of young women worldwide.
