Jenna Elfman has temporarily departed Hollywood for a small Virginia town. Along with Ashley Judd and Patrick Wilson, she's starring in "Big Stone Gap," a new film based on the novel of the same name by Adriana Trigiani, who grew up in, yep, Big Stone Gap, Virginia—where Jenna is currently shooting.

The town itself is at the center of the story: The book and film chronicle what happens when the local spinster Ave Maria Mulligan discovers a family secret that suddenly makes her the object of affection and celebration. Jenna plays Miss Iva Lou Wade, who runs Big Stone Gap's Bookmobile.

Jenna shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her character and adventures in Big Stone Gap. Take a look.
