There's no stopping Lupita Nyong'o.

The "12 Years a Slave" Academy Award-winning breakthrough actress has just added a new notch in her belt by posing for her very first Vogue cover

"It was a velvet miniskirt with a matching little top and an iridescent silver translucent fabric that flowed to the ground," Lupita tells Vogue of the prom dress she designed herself "because it was cheaper than buying retail." "It was kind of ridiculous, but it was fabulous at the time," she adds.
