Anderson Cooper Talks About His Saddest Birthday Ever on “Late Show”

Not-So-Happy Meal

Apparently, Anderson Cooper 47th birthday wasn't that amazing.

Our favorite silver fox Anderson Cooper came on the “Late Show With David Letterman” to talk about his rather pathetic 47th birthday.

Apparently, he stopped off at a truck stop McDonald's to have a late night Big Mac combo meal. Come on Anderson, we all know you should have gone with the McNuggets (haters to the left). At least he supersized it for celebratory reasons.

I mean, McDonald's is a fun treat and all (except the when you get a Happy Meal now—then it’s a terrifying treat), but we wish he took the time to fly out to LA to get himself some In-N-Out.

According to Cooper, the Mickey D's cashier looked at him like he was the “the loneliest, most pathetic person on the planet.” I mean, come on, it could have been worse.

The real question is, what's the sadder celebration? Anderson Cooper’s truck stop McDonald's combo meal or Walter White’s lonely diner breakfast (remember when he spelled out 52 with bacon? Yeah, that was rough)?
