George R.R. Martin Reveals Old-School Way He Writes "GoT"


"Game of Thrones" author George R.R. Martin sat with Conan O'Brien to reveal the old-school method he uses to write the "Game of Thrones" books.

"Game of Thrones" author George R.R. Martin sat down with Conan O'Brien to make a confession involving technology and the way he writes the hugely successful books that inspired HBO's hit show.

"I have a secret weapon," Martin revealed when Conan asked him why he doesn't worry about computer viruses. "I actually have two computers. I have the computer that I browse the Internet with, and I get my email on, and I do my taxes on...And then, I have my writing computer, which is a DOS machine, not connected to the Internet," he added.
