"Captain America" Sequel Set to Crush Box Office

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier," starring Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, is expected to collect $90 million during its debut this weekend.

After obliterating the competition by collecting $75 million from its overseas premieres, Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Solider" is expected to continue dominating box offices after this weekend's American debut, where the movie is projected to make more than of $90 million.

Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Samuel Jackson, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. The film follows Captain America (Evans) as he joins forces with the Black Widow (Johansson) two years after the events of "The Avengers" to try to stop a covert enemy hiding in Washington, D.C.
