Joan Rivers Returns to "Tonight" After 26 Yearshomecoming queen
The "Fashion Police" host posed with "Noah's" star Russell Crowe.
It turns out, "Noah's" star Russell Crowe not only killed it on "The Tonight Show" by covering Johnny Cash's classic "Folsom Prison Blues," but he also got to pose for this photo with legendary comedian Joan Rivers.
Rivers, who stopped by "The Tonight Show" last month to wish host Jimmy Fallon good luck before his first show, was a fixture at NBC's late-night talk show over two decades ago when Johnny Carson was the host.
"I was banned for what was it ... 25, 26 years?" said Rivers explaining the decades-old fallout with Carson. However, she had kind words for the late host. "I had been working for eight years in Greenwich Village and nothing. And (Johnny) said — God bless him — 'You're going to be a star.' It changed my life," she added.
