December 23, 2010A steel grey sky hangs over Pittsburgh PA, one of the more visually striking cities in the US. The view when you burst out of the Ft. Pitt Tunnel -- the lights, the rivers, the bridges -- is straight out of a Batman movie. As Dr. Evil would say: it's breathtaking. Here's my view right now: the Roberto Clemente bridge that spans the Allegheny River, leading to the current home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, PNC Park. At far left, at the confluence of the Three Rivers, Heinz Field, home to the start of Week 16 tonight on NFLN. And what a week it should be -- no fewer than 20 teams (20!) are still in playoff contention. The Steelers need this win tonight. Win and Pittsburgh stays in the 2-seed, closer to that bye-week in the playoffs that could be crucial in getting Troy Polamalu in quality shape for a stretch run. Lose and risk falling as far as the 6-seed, the team that will open the playoffs on the road needing to win to merely earn the right to see Tom Brady in Foxboro. See you tonight on NFLN!
