26 April 2012 Some nuggets to know about Andrew Luck (HS picture included)-With Luck as the starter, Stanford went 31-7, the three seasons before they were 10-26. He was the Valedictorian of Stratford High School (Houston, Texas). He currently carries a 3.48 GPA and is on schedule to receive his degree in architectural design. Has lived in Germany and England. His father Oliver played for the Houston Oilers and currently serves as the athletic director of West Virginia University. He is the fourth Stanford QB to be drafted 1st overall joining John Elway (1983), Jim Plunkett (1971) and Bobby Garrett (1954). Stanford record holder for touchdown passes (82), completion percentage (67.0), passing efficiency (162.8) and total offense (10,411) among other records.

29 September 2011 Thursday was my 27th wedding anniversary to the love of my life, Micki. We've been apart as we commenced the new NFL32 Show on ESPN2 (6 ET) and she is doing the hectic work of getting our house in order after some storm damage before joining me. She has given me permission to share with you a letter I wrote her to express my emotions. (Warning: It's mushy and faith-based but straight from the heart). Here it is: To my sweetheart wife, There are so many beautiful thoughts I have when I reflect upon the days and years that we have been together. The moment I laid eyes upon you, I knew I would pursue you to be my bride. It's a race I won but I want you to know my pursuit is everlasting! 07 September 2010 I thought wow, the ESPN folks went a little overboard upon my return to the campus after all these months...then I was reminded that it was our 31st anniversary. Sept. 7, 1979....I don't know if anybody ever envisioned this success. Wonderful place.
